Budev B.V. is a Dutch Research & Development company, founded in 1995, with its head office located in Bloemendaal, in The Netherlands.

Budev stands for Business Development and, since the end of 2008, Budev’s primary focus has been on developing a method to reduce the four major natural rubber latex (NRL) allergens which have been clinically proven to cause Latex Allergy (Type I) and chemical residues which could cause allergic contact dermatitis (Type IV). This research has resulted in the development of the MPXX™ technology. MPXX™ can be applied on both NRL as well as synthetic products (e.g. nitrile gloves). With upcoming allergy cases and discussions on migratable levels of N-nitrosamines Budev is able to increase occupational safety by minimizing allergy and health risks. A breakthrough!

MPXX™ technology
encompasses a unique washing process for any NRL product, eliminating the allergens which are responsible for the majority of NRL related sensitivities and allergies, to unquantifiable levels.

Budev B.V. is a Dutch Research & Development company founded in 1995, with its head office located in Bloemendaal, The Netherlands. Budev is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under registration number 16082044.

In co-operation with scientific partner organizations such as the Erasmus University Medical Centre in Rotterdam, the Life Sciences University in Wageningen and numerous other profit and non-profit organizations, several technologies have been developed and patented over the past decade, including the new MPXX™ technology.

It was the founder of the company, strongly aware of the importance of the growing latex allergy and occupational safety issues, who initiated the research and development.

Budev’s objective is to implement MPXX™ technology worldwide with selected dynamic partners who have proven themselves in quality and efficiency within the medical sector. In January 2010, Budev established a Joint Venture with one of the fastest growing Malaysian manufacturers of examination gloves, Latexx Partners Berhad SDN.

Together, Budev and Latexx Partners set up Total Glove Company SDN BHD (company number 472513-W). Total Glove’s objective is to wash, market and distribute NRL examination and surgical gloves with unquantifiable levels of protein allergens and chemical residues. MPXX™ treated gloves, with unrivaled cleanliness, are available for users worldwide under the brandname Cleantexx - MPXX™ (Classic and Premium).

Budev remains the owner of the intellectual property rights related to MPXX™ technology in order to assure availability of the technology to a wide range of products.

Besides complying with the standard quality requirements, MPXX™ treated products are constantly subjected to a variety of tests, ensuring the highest quality available for the environment, the user and avoidance of allergy Type I and Type IV. All tests are executed with well respected international accredited laboratories. Test results are available upon specific request.

MPXX™ stands for Maximum Protection and encompasses a unique batch washing process to eliminate to unquantifiable levels, protein allergens from NRL products, including the ones clinically proven to be responsible for the majority of NRL related sensitivities and allergies - Hev b 1, Hev b 3, Hev b 5 and Hev b 6.02. Furthermore, MPXX™ eliminates to undetectable levels migratable N-nitrosamines as well as chemical residues which could cause allergic contact dermatitis.

MPXX™ IS ROBUST, PROVEN AND CAN BE EASILY IMPLEMENTED ON LOCATION.

This combination of tests, unique for the medical world, not only proves MPXX™ technology as being breakthrough but also results in the cleanest and highest quality products available worldwide.

Amsterdam, October 24 2011.

USE OF SYNTHETIC ALTERNATIVES SHOULD BE TREATED WITH CAUTION. The Netherlands Center for Occupational Diseases published the report "Occupational Diseases in Figures 2011" (Beroepsziekten in cijfers 2011). Contact dermatitis is the most reported occupational skin disease, mostly caused by chemicals. Use of synthetic alternatives like nitrile and vinyl requires caution due to new upcoming types of contact allergens and leakage percentages of > 20% during surgery. The impact of migratable N-Nitrosamines is also addressed whereby it is mentioned that there are alternatives available with minimal migratable N-Nitrosamines (Cleantexx - MPXX)

Amsterdam, August 2011.

Cleantexx -MPXX™ gloves have been awarded the aha! label by Service Allergy Suisse SA. The aha! label is an independent quality seal that is awarded only after products are subjected to extensive quality control and testing. Products that have the Allergy Suisse label are recommended by the Swiss center for Allergy, Skin and Asthma. www.ahaswiss.ch

Amsterdam, April 29 2011.

Cleantexx -MPXX™ gloves successfully passed the migratable N-Nitrosamines and meet the requirements of LFGB and Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004. After several publications in mainly the Benelux region that N-Nitrosamines can increase the risk on cancer in case of extensive use this is another breakthrough realized by the  MPXX™ technology.

Amsterdam, March 21 2011.

Total Glove requested the Malaysian Rubber Board to test Cleantexx -MPXX™ on extractable and antigenic protein content, chemical residues and cytotoxicity, which are responsible for causing Latex Allergy Type I and Type IV. Cleantexx-MPXX ™ gloves successfully passed all tests resulting in undetectable levels of antigenic and extractable proteins and chemicals residues. Cleantexx-MPXX™ gloves prove to be safer and environmental friendlier as any other glove worldwide.

Amsterdam, January 11 2011.

Cleantexx -MPXX™ gloves have been submitted to the Chemical Permeability test (PPE), EN 374, 1-3 and passed 5 out of 12 chemicals. This further confirms the high quality of Cleantexx -MPXX™ gloves.

Düsseldorf, 18 November 2010.

Total Glove Company launched its Cleantexx gloves treated with MPXX™ technology at one of the biggest medical trade fair: MEDICA 2010. Amsterdam, 11 November 2010.

MPXX™ treated gloves, Cleantexx, were subjected to Chemical Residue testing. The test results show that also accelerators (such as carbamates) are greatly reduced to undetectable levels. Our results lead us to believe that these gloves are the cleanest gloves on the market both in terms of protein content as well as chemical residue, whereby they attribute in specific to solve the latex allergy Type I and Type IV issues and in general to occupational safety. Test reports are available upon request.

Amsterdam, September 28, 2010.
